If you have a project that you want modify to create a new document, ShareLaTeX offers the possibility of copying a project.

[edit] Introduction

  • If you don't have an account enter your e-mail address and set a password, click Register and that's it, you will be redirected to the project management page where you will be guided into how to create a new project.

If you already have an account, click Login in the upper right corner, then type in your email and password and click the Login button.

Once you are logged in, you should see the ShareLaTeX Project Management page

[edit] Making a copy of a project

In the Project Management page (see the introduction) locate the project you want to copy, click the small box right behind it, a check mark should appear, then click the button More, and in the drop-down menu click Make a copy.

A text box will pop up, there you should enter the name of the new project, then click Copy.

A new project will open in the editor with a copy of the files of the project you cloned.

  • Quick guide to copy a project: In the Project Management page, click the box right before the project you want to copy click More => Make a copy, enter a name for your project then click Copy.
